RAW MATERIAL PREPARATION

After purchasing the naturally dried wood, our skilled personnel
prepare the wooden triple-layer parts that make up the window
and shutter structures.

The triple-layer wood is obtained by pressing three or four
massive wood slides, procedure that takes place at environment
temperature so that the wood would not undergo strong thermal
alteration.

This procedure grants a higher wood stability in the course
of time. |

MOUNTING

Window mounting is made using a wooden frame fixed to the wall on
which the window is laid.

The advantage of using this apparent frame in comparison with the
polyurethane foam is that it has a much more elevated resistance
in time because it acts like a shield against the wall moisture.
PAINTING

The painting cycle consists of 4 phases:
1. Primary polish - manually made with sand paper
so that each part of the frame should be carefully prepared for
the painting stage.
2. Impregnation - the treatment is completed with
a impregnating solution that pigments the wood and contributes to
protecting it against fungus and mould.
3. Secondary polish - will remove any roughness
on the surface thus granting an optimal final result.
4. Finish - is made using a paint that creates
a weather-proof coating.

Both the impregnating
solution and the paint are ecologic, based on water, of Italian
origin, of excellent quality, assuring the stability of this treatment
over time while maintenance is only limited to simple cleaning that
will refresh the protection coating.
